aprilaire 700m fan motor taken apart finally using hex key
whole house humidifier fan motor was bad, no continuity so taking it apart. Need a hex key to loosen the set screw on the shaft of the fan to lock the fan into the shaft. A hex key can loose the set screw and release the fan from the shaft and separate the fan from the bad motor for replacement.
