How to Replace 2008 Chevrolet Malibu Intake and Exhaust Camshaft Actuator Solenoids related to Engine Codes P0010 P0011 P0013 and P0014. You will need the following tools and Parts: (note that these items were current at the time I did my repair, in October of 2013)
GM Intake and Exhaust Camshaft Actuator Solenoids:
Part Numbers 12655421 and 12655420
5/16 Socket on Driver Extension and Driver for Throttle Body Clamp Screw
10 mm Socket and Ratchet with Ratchet Extension to remove bolts holding solenoids in place
Channellocks to help with leveraging old solenoids out.
Vise Grips to Loosen Spring Clamp on PCV Hose
Oil
