Note: I use my biggest, heaviest camera + lens in this test/demonstration. Although it worked for me, if you have a lighter setup it’ll work even better for you. My setup can be rather clunky!
Pros:
- Allows my camera (Canon 70D) to be placed virtually anywhere.
- Heavy duty + tough. Not your average gorilla pod like others I’ve tested.
- Grippy joints, all the way down the legs. (not just to “feet” are grippy)
- Folds down into a surprisingly compact package.
- Nice little bag and carabiner that it comes with.
- Allen (hex) key/wrench allows you to adjust the tightness of every joint.
Cons:
- My neighbors do not like me as much since I’ve begun to wear this.
Summary: A surprisingly solid quality. There was good engineering built into this gadget. A must for a field photographer who needs a steady camera (especially for timelapses or night photography).
