Standard Jaw:
– Less aggressive point and more forgiving blade angle
– Broader blade angle for better visibility
– Well suited for the widest variety of nails
– A good choice for home, students or professional cosmetologists

Tapered Jaw:
– Slightly steeper angle to blades
– More aggressive cut
– Produces a very straight line
– fits into narrower, hard to reach areas
– allows for more precision but may be harder for non-professionals or students to use

Tower Point Jaw:
– narrowest jaw shape
– Specially ground point reaches areas impossible to get to otherwise
– Same steeper blade angle as the tapered jaw

- 3mm length: also known as 1/4 jaw, best for tiny fingers and toes, but has the shortest lifespan due to less material available to resharpen
- 5mm length: industry standard size also known as a half jaw, this is the most versatile size. If you’re unsure what size you need, get this length.
- 7mm length: also known as a 3/4 jaw, this size has the longest lifespan of manicure cuticle nipper, but may be harder for students or non-professionals to use
- 9mm length: also known as a “Full” jaw or pedicure cuticle nipper, this size has the longest lifespan, but may be difficult to use on tiny fingers or toes.
