Oh the OHT the multitool I wanted to love so bad and have been waiting for for a year or better…
Its not a terrible multitool by any means but it certainly isn’t a multitool to end all others by any means, the tools, spring opening pliers with replaceable cutters, and one hand function all seem good as well as having all the tools accessible from the outside.
The finish however on my particular OHT and seemingly all the ones I saw on the shelves is moderate to poor – something you would expect out of a 30 dollar or less tool not a 70 dollar mid price range tool.
No scissors for you must have scissors in all multitool types, not an issue for me though.
If I had to guess I would say the rush to get them out has caused Leatherman some finish issues for sure, I have also heard that certain batches were pulled for some QC issues.
Final verdict: I would like it a whole lot more if the finish was better. As always these are just my personal thoughts and opinions to each his own.
