me removing my braces at home using a more proper technique to not damage enamel. maneuver the pliers on top and bottom of the brace band and squeeze lightly to feel for any pressure or pain. if there is any, stop and come back to that tooth later. also i suggest you do symmetrical removal of bands on opposite sides so if you have to stop you dont look stupid.
on top of all… DONT DO ANYTHING STUPID! YOU CAN DAMAGE YOUR TEETH IN VERY PAINFUL WAYS! ENAMEL DOESNT GROW BACK! THIS IS A LAST RESORT!
